With the addition of three different models CLS, E-Class Coupé plus and E-Class Cabriolet Mercedes added a new, 53 Series to its AMG portfolio, The new 53 series will be in a perfect harmony between powerful performance with sporty style and high efficiency, Down the hood of these models will sit a new electrified 3.0-litre engine featuring twin-turbocharging by means of an exhaust gas turbocharger and an electric auxiliary compressor. On one hand where these models will be powered by a 6‑cylinder in-line engine generating 320 kW (435 PS) and delivers maximum torque of 520 Nm on another side it will have an EQ Boost starter-alternator which will provides an additional 16 kW of output plus 250 Nm of torque and furthermore feeds the 48 V on-board electrical system. The engine of this new 53 series model will be coupled with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission and the fully variable all-wheel-drive system AMG Performance 4MATIC+. The new model range will be able to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, and with the Driver's package, it will achieve a top speed of 270 km/h. The six-cylinder in-line engine is featured with top-of-the-range performance and intelligent electrification. The EQ Boost starter-alternator will combine a starter motor and alternator in a powerful electric motor and will be fitted between the engine and transmission. Along with the efficient and powerful engine, the new 53 series is also provided with a dynamic design and attractive interior. On the front, the new 53 series is provided with twin-blade radiator grille in silver chrome, which was previously incorporated in V8 Performance models only and the front radiator grill will have a black lattice pattern. Looking from the back these models will have a rear apron that stands out, and classic, round twin tailpipe trim with a high amount of chrome. The mud flaps are designed to improve the aerodynamics and a better airflow around the wheels. The opener lids will be painted is painted with the body colour to make these cars look attractive. Inside the cabin of these models are provided with an optional bright, high-resolution displays with a 12.3-inch screen diagonal in each case. The two screen under a shared glass is provided to give the feel of the cockpit and maintain the horizontal orientation of interior design one of which is instrument cluster and another infotainment system. The sportiness of the interior is also maintained with sports seats (including a fundamental seat look in the E 53 4MATIC+ Coupé and Cabriolet) with AMG-particular seat upholstery format and AMG identification, red safety belts, in addition, to trim components in carbon fiber or glass fiber in matt silver. The AMG fit steering wheel is covered with Nappa leather and there will be an option of choosing the interior materials from the options such as wood inserts in piano lacquer or DINAMICA microfibre in the grip area.
