Maruti Suzuki flagged off protototype of Electric model for field testing




Alarming pollution rate is the matter of great concern for the environment and living being. The future seeks an special attention toward this concern, so every major car manufacturer across the globe is concentrating on this issue and making themselves future ready. Design and development of the electric car is a major step taken in this direction. To withstand competition and stay still in this competing automobile word Maruti Suzuki India Limited also, has decided to develop the future-ready electric vehicle. MSIL has designed 50 prototype electric car for the testing purpose and flagged off from Gurugram manufacturing facility. These prototypes are designed in Japan and Developed in Gurugram manufacturing facility. Announcing the field testing of 50 prototypes nationwide, Mr Osamu Suzuki, Chairman of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan stated “The Electric Vehicles have been created solely by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan and worked at Maruti Suzuki, Gurugram manufacturing facility, as our duty to Make in India. This broad genuine utilization of the vehicles in different landscapes and climatic conditions will enable the organization to get significant bits of knowledge that will help in approval and fruitful dispatch of Electric Vehicle innovation in India.
